Letter to the editor: Good downtown plan

To the editor:

Kudos to our civic leaders for the proposed changes to downtown Lawrence. The expanded dining and walking spaces would represent a strong investment in building an increasingly livable, walkable and sustainable downtown environment. I also urge them to not hold back, and to also ensure space for a Massachusetts Street protected bicycle path connecting with the lanes running from 11th to 14th streets.
