To the editor:

Rachel Maddow’s Wednesday night interview on MSNBC with Lev Parnas, the associate of Rudy Giuliani, revealed so much about how many people in this corrupt Trump administration have been lying about their involvement in the effort by Donald Trump to find information about the Bidens in exchange for releasing the millions of dollars voted by Congress for military aid for Ukraine.

I pray as a patriot and former Marine that the Senate will allow witnesses in the coming trial. I do not think history will treat kindly sitting Senate Republicans like our own Sens. Jerry Moran and Pat Roberts, if they continue to support this corrupt administration. Witness Howard Baker in the Nixon hearings who broke ranks and asked the question “What did the president know and when did he know it?” He is remembered as a profile in courage. How will present senators supporting Trump be known by their progeny and future Americans?

This should not be viewed a political impeachment. It should be a fair and impartial trial to get at the facts and no coverup. There are new facts coming out daily which verify the charges.
