A Douglas County judge on Thursday sentenced a man to nearly 38 years in prison for sex crimes committed over a period of years, including violating a woman who was unconscious and videotaping the attacks.

Judge Amy Hanley, after hearing from his victims, ordered defendant Kenneth Soap to two consecutive prison sentences totaling 450 months. If he is released from prison, Soap will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
