Westbound K-10 Highway reopened after injury crash

The westbound lane of Kansas Highway 10 between Iowa Street and 27th Street was closed for about an hour and a half on Tuesday after a single-vehicle crash, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m., the office said in a news release. While emergency crews worked at the scene, westbound traffic was diverted at Iowa Street and eastbound traffic was moving slowly. The highway reopened at 2:20 p.m., the release said.
One person was taken from the scene by ambulance, the release said; it did not provide details on the extent of the person’s injuries.
