Lawrence police on Tuesday asked for the public’s help regarding gunfire at an apartment complex over the weekend.

More than a dozen shell casings were found around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot at The Connection near 31st Street and Ousdahl Road in south Lawrence, according to a release from the Lawrence Police Department. The bullet casings were found outside an apartment where a party was happening at the time of the shooting.
