Police seek public’s help in finding missing 70-year-old from Lawrence

Lawrence Police are looking for Lydell Thunder, who went missing Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.
The Lawrence Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Lawrence man.
The man, Lydell Thunder, is 70 years old and suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. He left his home near 28th Street and Kasold Drive about 1 p.m. Monday and hadn’t returned by evening, police said.
Thunder is a Native American male, about 6 feet tall and 155 pounds. He’s wearing a maroon zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans, cowboy boots and a cap.
