In this photo released by the FBI, a woman suspected of robbing Bank of America in central Lawrence is seen on surveillance footage on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021.

As the Journal-World previously reported, the robbery was reported Nov. 4 at the branch at 900 Ohio St. Lawrence officers were seen placing police tape around the bank’s property shortly after 3 p.m. and closing the alleyway between the bank and the adjacent building to the east.

Dixon Land, a spokesman for the FBI, said at the time the suspect was a woman who approached the counter of the bank and gave the teller a demand note. She allegedly claimed to have a weapon but did not display one. She then left on foot heading north with an undisclosed amount of money.

Land said no injuries were reported in the incident.
