University of Kansas police released this surveillance photo of a suspected peeping Tom seen leaving a building after looking under a women's restroom stall on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

University of Kansas police are looking for a peeping Tom who’s reportedly been going into women’s restrooms on campus.

Three times this month, a man has gone into women’s restrooms in Strong Hall and the Dole Center and has looked under an occupied bathroom stall, KU police said in a campus crime alert put out Wednesday along with a surveillance photo of the suspect. Police said the victims in all three cases are KU employees.

On Wednesday, a victim in one of the incidents “startled” the suspect, who then ran northwest from the Dole Center toward Jayhawk Boulevard, police said.

The man is described as white, about 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds with short brown hair and a beard, according to police. He was wearing a green shirt, blue pants, a blue or brown hat and a blue backpack.

Police urge anyone with information about the incidents or the man’s identity to call Crime Stoppers at 785-864-8888 or the KU Public Safety Office at 785-864-5900.
