After gunshots were heard in the area, police found bullet holes in an apartment building just southeast of the University of Kansas campus this weekend.
The incident was reported about 2:40 a.m. Saturday, Officer Shawn Gross of the Lawrence Police Department said Monday morning in an email to media.
Officers were dispatched to reports of gunshots in the 1700 block of Tennessee Street, where they found bullet holes in an apartment building, Gross said.
No injuries were reported, he said.
The police investigation was still ongoing Monday.
The Journal-World’s attempts to get more information about the incident from police over the weekend were not successful.
