Military jets will fly over the University of Kansas campus at least twice this week in advance of KU’s Friday night football game, the university announced Wednesday.
A group of four T-38 Talon jets will fly over David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Friday about 10 minutes before kickoff of the Jayhawks’ season opener against Missouri State at 7 p.m. The T-38s will do a practice run over the stadium Thursday at about 4 p.m.
Additionally, a group of F-16 fighter jets may fly over campus on Friday around 4 p.m. as part of a cross-country training run.
