National political reporters, campaign managers for the Kansas Senate race and leaders of campaign teams for President Donald Trump and President-elect Joe Biden are some of the featured guests in the Dole Institute of Politics’ 2020 Post-Election Conference.

The biennial conference is one of the Dole Institute’s most anticipated events, Director Bill Lacy said in a University of Kansas news release. The two-day conferences began in 2006 and have typically included state and national strategists, pollsters, journalists and campaign officials. This year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference occurred virtually with 11 interviews on Youtube.

“Given the historic nature of this year’s election, we felt canceling the conference was not an option,” Lacy said in the release. “So, we have gathered 11 world-class guests for a video series that delves deeply into one of the most unique national elections in our country’s history.”

Each guest was interviewed individually by Lacy. They include, among others: Dan Balz, chief correspondent at The Washington Post; Jeff Greenfield, a veteran political analyst for CBS, CNN, ABC and PBS; Erin Wilson, national political director for Biden’s 2020 campaign; Michael Glassner, chief operating officer for Trump’s 2020 campaign; Max Glass, campaign manager for Barbara Bollier; and Eric Pahls, campaign manager for Roger Marshall.

The videos range from about 30 minutes to an hour and can be viewed for free on the Dole Institute’s Youtube Page, youtube.com/TheDoleInstituteofPolitics.
