Lawrence's Outdoor Aquatic Center is at 727 Kentucky St.

As the temperature approaches 90 degrees Monday, the Outdoor Lawrence Aquatic Center will finally open for the season.

The regular hours for the pool, 727 Kentucky St., will be 1 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

The pool will be open for lap swimming from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, starting on June 15.

Monthly passes for the pool can be purchased for $47 per person per month. A season pass, valid through Sept. 7, can be purchased for $94.

Daily admission charges are $7 for ages 3-17 and 60-plus and $8 for ages 18-59. Ten-day punch cards can also purchased for $55 for youths and seniors and for $65 for adults.
