Weather-related closings, cancellations and delays for Wednesday, Feb. 12

• Lawrence Public Schools will be closed Wednesday; all school activities will be canceled and all district buildings and parking lots will be closed.
• Baldwin Public Schools will be closed Wednesday; all activities and practices will be canceled.
• Eudora Public Schools will be closed Wednesday.
• Bishop Seabury Academy will be closed Wednesday.
• Perry-Lecompton Schools will be closed Wednesday.
• All Douglas County government offices are closed Wednesday, and the Douglas County Commission’s meeting for Wednesday evening has been cancelled.
• Douglas County District Court will be closed on Wednesday, and all hearings will be canceled.
• State office buildings in Shawnee County will be closed on Wednesday.
• LMH Health clinics will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, with the exceptions of Lawrence OB-GYN Specialists, Radiology, Treatment and Procedure Center, Surgery, Lawrence Surgery Center, Pain/Endoscopy and all other outpatient services, which will all maintain normal hours of operation. LMH Health’s Parkinson’s class on Wednesday is also canceled. The hospital announced that it will waive fees for weather-related cancellations.
• The University of Kansas’ Lawrence, Edwards and Leavenworth campuses will be closed Wednesday.
• Lawrence Transit Service will stop On Demand service at 11 p.m. Tuesday and cancel all services on Wednesday, including overnight On Demand service. Fixed route and paratransit service is planned to resume as usual Thursday with On Demand service beginning at 8 p.m.
• The Senior Resource Center for Douglas County, including Senior Wheels, will be closed on Wednesday.
• The film screening of “It’s Basic” at Eudora High School, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been rescheduled for Feb. 26.
• The Lawrence Arts Center has canceled its 5 p.m. and earlier classes for Wednesday. A decision will be made about its evening classes by 2 p.m. Wednesday.
