The City of Lawrence is taking applications for its newly rebranded Unmistakable Events Grant Program beginning today.
The program helps support events that enhance Lawrence’s unique identity and encourage tourism, according to a news release from the city.
Formerly known as the TGT Grant Program, the revamped initiative is managed by the Parks, Recreation, Arts & Culture Department.
The application window for the grants will run from today through Dec. 11, 2024. The competitive grant program offers funding opportunities specifically for Lawrence-based events that are open to the public.
