The Easter Bunny leads a group of pre-school children from the Ballard Center, 708 Elm St., in a Peter Cottontail song and dance on the children’s visit Monday, April 1, 2024, to Midland Care, 319 Perry St., where they celebrated with clients in the center’s adult-day program.

The Easter Bunny paid a surprise visit Monday to young children and senior adults alike, as the two groups met up at Midland PACE.

Midland PACE, which stands for Program of All-inclusive Care of the Elderly, features regular meetings between kids who attend Ballard Center and senior adults at Midland. The purpose is to foster intergenerational connections and support.

Monday morning, the Easter Bunny worked overtime to hop in for a post-Easter visit featuring songs and stories — and more than a few smiles.
