Renovations to LMH Health’s Emergency Department waiting room are now finished after about three months of work on the project.

As the Journal-World reported, in early April construction began to increase the waiting room capacity at LMH Health’s 325 Maine St. campus, which meant the Emergency Department entrance wasn’t accessible for any patients not seeking emergency care. The hospital announced Monday afternoon that renovations are complete, and that entrance is now open to the public once again.

Specifically, the hospital is requesting that patients accessing imaging, lab and surgery care use the Maine Street entrance. All other patients and hospital visitors should enter through the Arkansas Street entrance, which is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Visitors will need to enter through the Emergency Department at all other times.
