Renovations to LMH Health’s emergency department waiting room are set to begin early next week.

Starting Tuesday, April 11, construction to increase the waiting room’s capacity will commence at LMH Health’s 325 Maine St. campus, and the hospital announced Thursday that means hospital visitors will need to be aware when navigating the ongoing work. The hospital and clinics won’t be accessible via the emergency department entrance to any patients who aren’t seeking emergency care.

Instead of the emergency department entrance, the hospital is directing most visitors to its entrances off Arkansas and Maine streets. Those clinic entrances are marked “Anderson Health Plaza” and “4th Street Health Plaza.”

The hospital is directing patients to its website for updates about construction and assistance with navigating to other LMH Health locations that may be impacted by the construction.
