Blooming sunflowers at Hunsinger Sunflower Patch in rural Lawrence attracted photographers of all types on Sunday. Eva Young, three-and-a-half years old, took photos of her parents Stewart and Hilary Young on Sunday afternoon.

The sunflower patch is located at 923 East 1450 Road, which is just outside of Lawrence, a bit southeast of where Haskell Avenue extended intersects with the road that leads to Wells Overlook. There’s no admission charge to the field, but the owners ask for a free will donation for those who take photos at the field, and for $2 if you pick a sunflower head to take home with you.

The field began to bloom more than a week ago, so visitors who want to see the field in its colorful form should go soon.
