The Downtown Lawrence Farmers’ Market is set to open this coming weekend.

The weekly market at 824 New Hampshire St. will be open every Saturday through late autumn from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Dozens of vendors will be offering fresh, locally grown produce, flowers, baked goods, wine, coffee and more. The weekly scavenger hunts for kids will also return. This Saturday’s hunt, the day before Easter, will focus on eggs, and an egg-dying activity using food scraps will also take place.

The opening day for the Tuesday market in South Park is May 2. That market runs from 4 to 6 p.m.

Organizers of the markets are also asking customers to participate in an online survey to offer suggestions for improvements.
