The dead — or, if you prefer, the undead — will walk again in October during the 15th Annual Lawrence Zombie Walk.

The popular all-ages event, which tends to draw hundreds of horror fans, will begin at sundown on Oct. 20. Participants will meet up at 6 p.m. near the gazebo at South Park in downtown Lawrence, then parade north in all their gory glory along Massachusetts Street and back again.

This year’s activities will include makeup and “blood bath” stations, photo opportunities, food vendors and costumes contests with prizes. The event, presented by The Granada and 1313 Mockingbird Lane, is free, but any donations and proceeds will benefit the Lawrence Humane Society.
