Free at-home COVID tests available to vulnerable Kansans; Douglas County ZIP codes are eligible

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment announced Wednesday that it has partnered with a public charity to offer free at-home COVID-19 tests directly to Kansans in vulnerable communities, and Douglas County is among the areas that are eligible.

KDHE has partnered with The Rockefeller Foundation’s RF Catalytic Capital, which has been working to help the public obtain COVID tests via “Project Access to Covid Tests.” Kansans can visit accesscovidtests.org, where they can enter their ZIP code to confirm eligibility and sign up to receive their free tests via the mail.
