Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health’s clinic at 200 Maine St. has reopened as planned, after closing temporarily due to positive coronavirus cases among clinic staff last week.

The clinic closed last Wednesday out of precaution, and to allow staff to recover and properly clean the space. Per a social media post from the health department Monday morning, that gave enough time to ensure the safety of clinic clients and staff.

With the clinic open again, the health department will return to administering COVID vaccinations and booster doses. Those interested in getting vaccinated can call (785) 843-0721 with any questions.
