Members of the Lawrence All British Car Club will be parking their historic cars in front of the Brits store this weekend to celebrate Halloween.

Starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, club members — and their Triumphs, MGs, Mini Coopers and other British cars — will be in front of the store at 929 Massachusetts St.; members will be in costume and distributing candy to passerbys.

“Club members are excited to celebrate an early Halloween and share their cars with members of the Lawrence community,” said Susan McKenzie, club representative, in a news release. “It’s appropriate that we’ve partnered with longtime retailer Brits that has been featuring British food, gifts and more in Lawrence for over 25 years.”

McKenzie said that autumn typically marked the end of the club’s season, as most members store their cars for the winter.
