The Douglas County Treasurer’s Office is now able to process in-person and online motor vehicle transactions after the system was experiencing statewide issues, the county announced Tuesday morning.

As the Journal-World reported, the loss of service prevented the treasurer’s office from processing transactions related to motor vehicles like renewing license tags.

The transactions were halted after the motor vehicle system overseen by the Kansas Department of Revenue encountered issues Monday morning, resulting in Douglas County’s offices’ inability to process transactions, the county said in a brief press release.
