The Douglas County Commission is expected to meet only briefly Wednesday.

Karrey Britt, a spokeswoman for the county, said the commission’s work items were all scheduled to be in the meeting’s consent agenda. The consent agenda allows the commission to consider and approve several items in one motion, unless a commissioner or member of the public asks to pull an item for discussion.

Two of the three consent agenda topics will allow the commissioners to consider fixing clerical errors for the spelling of names on real estate property deeds and fixing clerical errors on real estate tax appraisals. The third agenda topic is approving the minutes of previous meetings.

The County Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglas County Courthouse, 1100 Massachusetts St. Full agendas are available online at douglascountyks.org.
