Roadwork in Lawrence and Douglas County

The City of Lawrence will be working on the traffic signals at two intersections on Clinton Parkway in the coming days, requiring other means of directing vehicles while maintenance is being performed.

Traffic signals at the intersection of Clinton Parkway and Crossgate Drive will be taken out of service for scheduled maintenance on Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to a city news release. The traffic signals at Clinton Parkway and Hawthorne Drive will be taken out of service for scheduled maintenance on Jan. 31 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Stop signs will be in place during signal maintenance, and flaggers may be present to help with traffic flow. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and should expect slight delays.
