Letter: Gun concerns
To the editor:
The call is out: Deny Iran nuclear weapons — and the ability to make one. Our friends in Israel are scared and urge us to take a stronger stand. (But it’s OK for Israel to have such weapons?) They argue, safety requires such threats/possibilities to be eliminated.
Am I confused? Our governor and legislators say it is OK for legal gun owners to carry those guns, even concealed. Am I to assume no threats and thus no fear?
