Letter: Wise choices

To the editor:

“The Good Society” by Robert Bellah (1992) and “Deep Economy” by Bill McKibben (2009), seen as bookends on the topic of what is best for our future, lay out the plans and attributes of how to best achieve societal harmony.

Socio-economic and political concerns have deluged our nation since the stolen election of November 2000. A minority of people take action. Voting is one thing that you can easily accomplish.

The Occupy movement followed on the heels of the financial meltdown of 2008. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders stands alone as the elected representative that revealed in 2009 that four trillion not the more commonly reported hundreds of billions was given to 18 banks and financial institutions during that October financial coup d’etat.

Having intelligence is one thing. Having the wisdom to tell the truth and to try to restore good leadership is another. Please vote this midterm election using your own wisdom about which candidates of your own choice can bring about the change that is needed.
