Letter: Another project?
To the editor:
My husband and I have lived in Lawrence for 32 years and own property. We love it here. We voted in favor of the library and the police headquarters. There are many schools and public recreation centers with nice facilities all over town in addition to the glorious new library and Rock Chalk Park. How can Lawrence possibly need more for middle school students? What kind of fundraising study was done for the Boys & Girls Club?
My favorite part of everyday is to sit down with the Journal-World and a cup of coffee. This morning I screamed out loud and frightened my husband.
