Lawrence police Thursday morning arrested a 32-year-old Ottawa man as a suspect in an April 14 burglary at a female Kansas University student’s residence.

In the burglary in the 900 block of Christie Court, $176 worth of items, including a $90 Vera Bradley purse, was stolen. The man was arrested at 7:45 a.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Tennessee Street on charges of burglary of a dwelling, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a financial card.
