Kansas City, Mo. ? Lawrence High senior wrestler Reece Wright-Conklin won his match in the Metro Classic on Tuesday, and a team of Kansas all-stars edged Missouri, 26-25.

Wright-Conklin defeated Park Hill South’s Nick Gillespie, 13-3, in the 182-pound class.

Baldwin’s Andrew Morgan defeated Lee’s Summit North’s Will Thomas, 2-1, at 126, and Baldwin’s Colton Bonner defeated William Chrisman’s Danny Klick, 5-2, at 220.

Mill Valley’s Christian Service fell to Tanner Mindert, 10-1, at 138, and Wellsville’s Jesse LaMay lost to Kearney’s Morgan Fitzgerald, 6-3, at 160.
