Bible, sensuality

To the editor:

I was not amazed at the content of Stu Nowlin’s letter to the Journal-World published on Feb. 27.

He, like most Americans, believes they should have the right to live as they wish and not by God’s Holy Bible rules. And that is exactly what is tearing America apart today!

Maybe Mr. Nowlin should study the Holy Bible. Please note that I wrote “study,” not just read. In his letter, he complained that there was no such word as sensuality in the Christian dictionary. Therefore, I have to assume he has never studied the Holy Bible.

He should read and study the book of James, Chapter 3, to start. Verse 15 states that “sensual” or “sensuality” is unrestrained self-gratification. He can also find the meaning of “sensuality” in the book of Jude, verses 18-19.

Also, if he or anyone else is interested, the meaning and results of “sensuality” can be found in God’s Holy Bible in the following books and verses: Ecclesiastes 11:9, Mark 7:20-21, Luke 12:19-20 and Romans 1:18

There are also other books and verses that describe being sensual — and the end results of living that lifestyle.
