Lawrence police arrested a 25-year-old Lawrence woman Sunday for domestic-related aggravated battery after she stabbed a 32-year-old Lawrence man in an altercation in the 2500 block of Redbud Lane.

Lawrence Memorial Hospital reported the stabbing at 5:20 p.m.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Randy Roberts, the man and woman both battered each other during an altercation, and then the woman stabbed the man in the right shoulder. The man was hospitalized Sunday night with nonlife-threatening injuries and will also be charged with domestic battery.
