This is to the unknown kind soul who found my billfold on the evening of Dec. 18:

Thank you for returning my billfold and all of its contents to my mailbox. It’s neighbors like you who keep me firmly rooted in Lawrence, Kansas. I’ve made a donation to the Red Cross in honor of your kindness. I sincerely hope I’m able to repay the favor someday.
