To the editor:

With all of the controversy about “Gitmo” and the military prison there, let’s look at some facts:

¢ Shaving off a Muslim’s beard is tantamount to placing a six-point star on a Jew’s chest in the 1930s and ’40s.

¢ Muslims are not afraid of dogs. They consider them dirty, and it ruins their purity for prayer. Each Muslim must be clean to pray.

¢ Flushing a Quran or using it inappropriately is tantamount to urinating on the Wailing Wall or in the Holy Sepulcher.

¢ Muslims do not hate Judaism. They hate anyone, no matter his birthplace or religion, who steals their land, rapes their daughters and bombs their country.

What are we doing to improve the image of America and Americans? Certainly by allowing these things to occur, we are gaining more and more wrath from the rest of the world. When will this stop?
