Calvert Elliott

Calvert ‘Dean’ Elliott, 88, Lawrence, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 with complications of dementia.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, JoAnn, his sons, Rusty and Randy, and his sister, Marjorie Clark. He is survived by his sons, Brian and Bruce; Bruce's wife Heidi, and their three boys Brandon, Zachary and Nicholaus; daughter-in-law Christine Elliott and her sons Aiden and Avery; sister-in-law Judy Meyer; and loving companion Barbara Merritt.

Visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2025, from 6-8 pm, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
