Clayton Place

A Funeral service for Clayton Lewis Place, 30, Lawrence, Kansas, will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W 13th Street, Lawrence, KS. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Clayton passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS.

Clayton was born March 25, 1995, in Lawrence, KS, the son of Nicholas Lewis and Rhonda Imogene (Creason) Place.

Survivors include his mother, siblings, Joshua Place, Noah Place, Casey Place, Mary Ashburn, Lindsey Barnes, and Amanda Barnes; and his beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Lewis Place.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Clayton's name to Rhonda Billinger (Creason) and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
