Robert Skeet

Robert McKone Skeet, 78, Lawrence, KS, passed away July 9, 2025, at his home.

Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday July 17, 2025, at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday evening at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Reno Cemetery.

Robert was born August 21, 1946, in Lawrence, KS, the son of Harry M. and Audrey (Winkelman) Skeet. He was a 1965 graduate of Lawrence High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked for several different employers around the Lawrence area, Co-op, R.D. Johnson, and LRM as a Heavy Equipment Hauler. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Skeet.

Survivors include; his brother B.A. (Deborah) Skeet, Tonganoxie; Sister in law, Cathy Skeet, Ottawa, KS; Nieces, Rebecca (Skeet) Grube, Belinda (Skeet) O'Dell; Nephews, Steven Skeet, Bret Skeet, and Bart Skeet; and many great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in Robert's name to the American Diabetes Association.
