Marina Penny

Marina Penny, 45, of Sherman, Texas, lost her valiant battle with cancer on January 7, 2025. A beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend, she will be remembered for her smile, laughter and determination.

Born March 28, in Lawrence, KS, Marina grew up in Kansas and Colorado. She later lived in Missouri, Kansas, Florida and Texas raising her two daughters, Adison and Nevaeh Penny.

Marina's legacy of love, fun and caring will live on in those who loved her. Her celebration of life will be Sunday, Feb. 2 from 2:30-5 at the Lawrence Visitor Center and Train Depot. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her children's education fund to Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, KS.
