Roger Allen

Roger Kent Allen, of Lawrence, KS, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024, at Homestead of Eudora.

He was born in Lawrence, KS on April 5, 1945, the youngest of five children to William Henry and Goldie Belle (Johnson) Allen.

He is survived by his wife Susan Marie (Still) Allen; daughter Shelley Lynn (Allen) Gehrke; two grandchildren Whitney Allen Gehrke, his wife Samantha; and Carter William Gehrke.

A private family only inurnment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, KS.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence Humane Society in Roger's name and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
