Staci Rodriguez

Staci Rodriguez, 63, passed away on November 19, 2024, surrounded by her family. A loving mother, daughter, artist, and friend, Staci's vibrant personality and boundless love left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Born in Pittsburg, Kansas on March 1, 1961, she was raised in Ulysses, Wichita, and Lawrence, Kansas. A 1979 graduate of Lawrence High School, she later attended Pittsburg State University.

In 1981, Staci married Roman Rodriguez, with whom she raised three children, Roman David, Ryan, and Alison. She adored her children and her grandchildren, Ezekiel, Roman Jacob, Jesse, Mariah, Eden, Reann, Valerie, and Alexander. Staci's kindness, creativity, and infectious smile brightened every room she entered.

Whether through art or her relationships, she inspired those around her with her warmth and generosity.

Staci is survived by her children, grandchildren, parents Roger and Deana Coffey, siblings Shaun, Stephany, and Thane Coffey, former husband and friend Roman Rodriguez, and her loyal companion Oreo. She is deeply mourned by her family and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 12th, 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
