Rosemary O'Tey

There are no formal services scheduled at this time for Rosemary K. O'Tey, 74, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at LMH Health.

Rosemary was born on April 2, 1950, in Horton, KS, the daughter of Thomas W. and Mary Etta (Haggard) Kreider.

She taught at Central Junior High after graduating from KU. She moved to North Bend, Oregon where she met her future husband, Max Michael O'Tey.

She returned to Kansas to teach at Oregon Trail Junior High School in Olathe, KS. She received her Master's Degree in Education from The University of Kansas. She retired from her teaching career at Olathe North High School.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Edward O'Tey, and sister, Diana Kreider, both of Lawrence.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max O'Tey and sister, Beverly.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary's name to Multiple Sclerosis Achievement Center and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
