Ola Faucher

Funeral services for Ola Delle Faucher, 74, Lawrence, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Westside Presbyterian Church in Lawrence. A 3:30 p.m. burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. In her honor, please feel free to wear either your favorite Jayhawk or tie-dye attire. Ola passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at The University of Kansas Medical Center.

Ola was born on April 6, 1949, in Salina, KS, the daughter of John Lucas and Chrystal Cleo (Copeman) Stover.

She was the Director of Human Resources for The University of Kansas until she retired in 2019.

She married Ted Allen Faucher on May 26, 1972, in Los Angeles, CA. He survives at home. Other survivors include her three children: Chrystal Hunter, Lysette DeBoard, and Andre Faucher; grandchildren: Alexandria, Gabriel, Zoe, Elijah, Gryphon, and Drake and great grandchild: Jack. Ola was preceded in death by her parents, half-brothers: Darrell and Dale Stover and sister: Oma Lacey.
