Martin Marsee

Shannon passed unexpectedly in Nov. 2022. He was born to Condly Lee Marsee and Betty Ann Marsee (Burnside) and spent his formative years in Talihina, OK. Shannon could fix nearly anything, and he made a profession of his maintenance skills in the management of commercial/residential properties. He always had homecooked food on the holidays, brutal-yet-sincere honesty, and a never-ending supply of Dr Pepper. He loved to hunt, fish, cook, and spend time with loved ones. Although he resided in Kansas and throughout Oklahoma for many years, he returned to the Talihina community in his later years. Shannon is remembered fondly and greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Aaron Marsee deOsio; one brother, Sean Marsee; and two sisters, Marian and Melissa Marsee.

Shannon is survived by five children: Condly Bristow of Wilburton, OK; Kyle Bristow of Wilburton, OK; Dominique Dunn (deOsio) of Lawrence, KS; Abigail Blevins (Swope) of Lawrence, KS; and Alonna Marsee deOsio of Harrah, OK. He is also survived by Aamira Galloway deOsio, whom he loved as he did his own children; many grandchildren, including Ella, Ben, Ender, Tayla, and Anastasia; his brother, Jason Marsee of Flagstaff, AZ; ex-wife, La Donna deOsio of Topeka, KS, with whom he coparented and maintained a lasting friendship; and his canine companion, Ladybug.
