Ronald Richardson

Ronald ‘Ron’ Eugene Richardson, 85, passed away at his home in Gardner, Kansas on December 22, 2023. Ron was born on July 30, 1938 to Clarence and Jessie Mae Richardson in Lawrence, Kansas. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a BSE in Physical Education and an MSE in Administration.. He was the Director of Intramurals at the University of Kansas and retired as Director of Athletic Facilities at the University of California State Bakersfield. He is survived by his wife Alice Fishburn Richardson, daughters Ronda Hassig of Ft. Scott, Kansas, Carie Lawrence of Gardner Lake, Kansas, son Rodney Richardson of Cole Camp, Missouri, four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner. Kansas on Tuesday, December 26th, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Click on link for more information.
