Patricia McCubbin

Patricia Rose McCubbin passed away on November 19th, 2023 at the age of 81.

Patricia was born on January 6th, 1942 in Kingman, KS to her mother and father Ida and L.W. Heatherman.

She attended St Patrick's Catholic School in Kingman.

Her career was mostly as a manager in patient billing at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, KS and then at University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. She served as the President of the American Cancer Society in Lawrence for one term and helped organize a highly successful charity softball game featuring coaches and players from KU Athletics.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 of her siblings Larry, David and Mike Heatherman. She is survived by her sister Katie Sorensen (Bemidji, MN) and brother Harry Heatherman (Kingman, KS), her children Michelle Hack (Lawrence, KS) and Mike McCubbin (Denver, CO). She was a loving grandmother to Wilson Hack (Seattle, WA), Weston Hack (Wichita, KS), Hudson Hack (Lawrence, KS) and Reed McCubbin (Denver, CO).
