Terri Dann
Terri Sue Dann (Munsch), 68, of Baldwin City, KS passed away on Saturday 12/11/21 after an extended battle with metastasized breast cancer.
Terri was born on 9/15/53 in Ransom, KS. She spent her formative years growing up in Ness City, attending Sacred Heart School and then Ness City High School.
She moved to Hays, KS to attend Fort Hays State University, and after several years began working full-time in the Institutional Research Department.
She joined David M. King and Associates, financial advisory, to implement and maintain the burgeoning computer records and client management system. She moved to Lawrence, KS in 1988 when David M. King and Associates moved their operation. She continued to work for DMK&A, becoming the country's first Certified Financial Planning Associate, and later earning her Certified Financial Planner designation. Terri handled the automated records and computer needs of the firm during her tenure, as well as maintaining their computer systems and an investment client base of her own. She retired in 2019.
She met her husband, Michael W. Dann, at a financial professional conference in 1991. They were married in December, 1993.
Terri was born to Joseph Munsch and Martina M. Munsch (Rohr), who have predeceased her. She had 2 sisters, Lisa Holmes who passed in 1975 and Kathy McCammond (Munsch) of Downs, KS surviving. Her two brothers, Stanley Munsch (wife Bernus) of Hays, KS and Kenneth (wife Darleen) Munsch of Colorado Springs, CO also survive her.
Terri will be interred in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Ness City, KS.
