Delores R Mosely

Dolores was born September 12, 1950 in Sandwich, IL, the daughter of Everett and Ruth Teal. She moved to Kansas in 1971 and lived in Lawrence much of her life. She passed away at the age of 67 on May 14, 2018. Dolores was an advocate for the victims of crime and physical abuse. In her 30 years working for the Douglas County District Attorney, Dolores touched thousands of people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. Dolores received several awards for her groundbreaking work advocating for victims and the rights of women. Dolores’ long¬standing work with the DA’s office made her a fixture in our law enforcement community. Dolores is survived by her children, Bill Moseley, Mark Moseley and Amy Moseley; four sisters Juanita Furtado, Linda Renc, Mary O’Benar and Alice Moseley; as well as four grandchildren.
