Edwin Laurence Chalmers, Jr.

Former Kansas University chancellor Dr. Edwin Laurence Chalmers, Jr., died on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009.
He was KU’s chancellor from 1969 to 1972, and led the school through a time of tumult.
