Theodore Hattemer
Memorial services for Theodore Hattemer, 91, Cincinnati, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bellarmine Chapel, 3800 Victory Parkway in Cincinnati.
Mr. Hattemer died Saturday, May 23, 2009.
He was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Louisville, Ky. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in Louisville.
Mr. Hattemer started several businesses before moving his family to Cincinnati in 1961. He expanded his company, Ad-Here, until selling it to Consolidated Foods in 1968. He continued as an entrepreneur and recently sold his “store and lock” businesses.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Cassin Hattemer.
Survivors include 10 children, including Leah Hemenway and husband Bob, Lawrence; 38 grandchildren, including Elinor Brown and husband Aaron, and Arna Hemenway, all of Lawrence, and Zachary Hemenway and wife Meghan, of Roeland Park; 31 great-grandchildren, including Beatrix Brown, of Lawrence; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to the Theodore and Elizabeth Cassin Hattemer Fund at the Greater Cincinnati Community Foundation, 200 W. Fourth St., Cincinnati, OH 45202.
